Global Conference on Business Management and Social Sciences (GCBMS-2019)
The 5th “Global Conference on Business Management and Social Sciences (GCBMS-2019)” was scheduled on 24th and 25th April 2019 in Dubai. The Conference provided an opportunity to Scholars and Leading Academicians drawn from multidisciplinary fields to meet and exchange their ideas with an ambition to transform these ideas into reality. Academia and industry leaders also get a chance to deliberate on futuristic research direction for industry and business. This multidisciplinary facet has been emphasized in order to overcome transdisciplinary, cultural and national barriers, and in meeting the needs of accelerating technological revolution and aspirations in the global economy.
Keynote Speaker
Professor Zaffar before joining UMS as Associate Dean Business School served as Vice Chancellor of Punjab University and Dean American University in the Emirates (AUE). He has also served as Professor of Economics/Chief of Research and Dean at Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE); besides, he worked in the Government of Pakistan as Director General for Policies in the Policy Planning Cell. In 2010, he was appointed Director on the Board of Directors of National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Dr Nasar also worked on research projects financed by World Bank, IMF, Asian Development Bank, United Nation (UNICEF, ILO, UNHCR, and UNDP), and International Development Research Centre (IDRC). He has edited two books and published many research article in high ranked journals. He also supervised thesis of more than 50 PhD/MS students.
