The 4th “global conference on business management and social sciences (gcbms-2018)” was scheduled on 21st and 22nd september 2018 in dubai. The conference provides an opportunity to scholars and leading academicians drawn from multidisciplinary fileds to met and exchange their ideas with an ambition to transform these ideas into reality. Academia and industry leaders also got a chance to deliberate on futuristic researched direction for industry and business. Key Note Speaker Zaffar M. Nasar

Professor Zaffar before joining UMS as Associate Dean Business School served as Vice Chancellor of Punjab University and Dean American University in the Emirates (AUE). He has also served as Professor of Economics/Chief of Research and Dean at Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE); besides, he worked in the Government of Pakistan as Director General for Policies in the Policy Planning Cell. In 2010, he was appointed Director on the Board of Directors of National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Dr Nasar also worked on research projects financed by World Bank, IMF, Asian Development Bank, United Nation (UNICEF, ILO, UNHCR, and UNDP), and International Development Research Centre (IDRC). He has published many research article in high ranked journals and advised more than 50 PhD/MS students.
As the Dean of a Business College and Senior Lecturer, author of multiple books and articles, and practitioner, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise into my classes, workshops, consulting and training interventions. In guiding organisations in their International Expansion Strategies, I have gained experience in no less than 24 countries over the past 24 years of my professional life. I have led as a CEO in my time, whilst simultaneously holding two Executive Directorships in consulting concerns on the African continent. This practice of assisting organisations with international expansion strategies led me to complete my PhD in Strategy, Business Management and Administration, in 2012 at the Stellenbosch University Business School. Practitioner on the one side and lecturer on the other, I have, amongst others, contributed to the development and execution of programs/degrees for Harvard Business School Publishing, Stellenbosch Business School, University of Wolverhampton, Jumeira University and Westford Education Group
