The 4th Global Conference on Business Management and Social Sciences (GCBMS-2018), organized by the Academy of Business Management Conferences (ABMC) in collaboration with the University of Modern Sciences (UMS), was successfully held on September 21–22, 2018 in Dubai. The conference brought together a distinguished group of scholars, academicians, professionals, and industry leaders representing more than 25 nations.

The event served as a vibrant platform for multidisciplinary dialogue, covering research themes such as entrepreneurship, strategic management, finance, human resource practices, public policy, organizational studies, Industry 4.0, innovation, and social sciences. Presentations highlighted pressing issues of the global economy including socio-economic challenges, SME development, digital transformation, and knowledge innovation.

Day One featured engaging paper presentation sessions at the Radisson Blu Hotel, where participants actively exchanged research findings, received constructive feedback, and explored opportunities for collaborative projects. The sessions were organized under focused tracks, encouraging cross-disciplinary learning and meaningful academic discussion.

On Day Two, the venue shifted to the University of Modern Sciences (UMS), Dubai, where keynote speeches from eminent professors enriched the academic environment. The ceremony included a welcome by university leadership, followed by thought-provoking talks on international expansion strategies, innovation in education, and the role of research in shaping future business practices. Best Paper Awards were also presented to recognize outstanding scholarly contributions.

Beyond the academic sessions, the conference provided cultural and networking opportunities, including an optional city tour of Dubai. This experience offered participants not only professional growth but also cultural enrichment through interactions with peers from across the globe.
