28th ABMC Conference Successfully Concludes in Dubai
Dubai, UAE – April 11–12, 2025 – The 28th edition of the Academy of Business Management Conferences (ABMC) was successfully held at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre and online, bringing together global leaders, scholars, and innovators under the theme “AI for Sustainable Business: Bridging Academia and Industry.”
The two-day hybrid event was co-organized by the Academy of Business Management Conferences (ABMC), the American University in Dubai (AUD), Spiro EV, and Softflow, with Emerald Publishing as the Knowledge Partner.
The conference commenced with welcome remarks by Prof. Rock-Antoine Mehanna (CEO of ABMC), followed by an opening thought piece by Prof. Richard Pettinger (University College London) and a keynote address from Mr. Husni Al Bayari (Chairman, Bayari Investments, UAE).

The CEOs’ Roundtable, Deans’ Roundtable, and Editors, Deans & CEOs Roundtable featured prominent global leaders, academic deans, and industry experts. These sessions explored how AI is transforming organizations, reshaping education, and strengthening research–industry collaboration.

Research Presentations: A total of 50 carefully selected papers were presented on the theme “AI for Sustainable Business: Bridging Academia and Industry.” These sessions covered AI in education, sustainable transportation, fintech for economic growth, HR transformation, ESG reporting, metaverse psychology, green supply chains, and AI-driven digital transformation.
Awards & Recognition: Outstanding contributors and researchers were honored for their academic and professional achievements, followed by networking sessions and group photographs.

With participants from 30+ countries, ABMC 2025 once again proved to be a premier platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and bridging the gap between academia and industry.
